The Japan outtakes are in the best quality we've seen yet, the only slight problem is the FOR SCREENING ONLY-text that appears throughout this portion of the DVD.
As far as I'm aware no one's reseeded it as of yet, but there's no better place for it than the Bit Torrent tracker! Some of us actually managed to finish downloading the torrent right after it was removed, while some other fans managed to trade for this particular DVD later on.
The Dime mods think that this footage is going to be officially released some time in the future but as most of us have realized, it is very likely not going to happen. That was the first reason it was banned, the second was the petition for a Fleetwood Mac DVD at the Penguin, as suggested by Ken Caillat, that was going to include both "Say You Love Me" and "I'm So Afraid" from Rosebud. The Rosebud "Rhiannon" was only officially 'available' as an online link through The Very Best Of Fleetwood Mac CD compilation, even then only for a short time. ) which was banned from that tracker because of extreme paranoia on behalf of the moderators (nothing officially released or to be released is allowed there). Notes: This is a reseed of Devlin0208's torrent at Dime from April 2005 ( Lineage: Pro-Shot footage > ? > Dime torrent > DVD-R Young Music Festival, Japan Outtakes & Rosebud Documentary 1976 PLEASE DO NOT TRY TO GAIN FROM THIS RECORDING MONETARILY. If you want a sample of this before downloading, just go to Nancy's site and download one of the files: ĭO NOT DISTRIBUTE THIS IN LOSSY FORMAT! Converting it for your iPod or whatever is ok, but don't try to pass around those lossy files to someone else as lossless. However, I thought that some purists might prefer the lossless version so here it is. I realize the problems that arise out of a lossy source and lossless source being shared at the same time. Nancy from is currently posting this at the same time as mp3s, apparently from the same discs that we both received from Brian J. There was also an unrelated piece of music right after "Songbird" ends (sounds like the 1987 version of "Big Love") that I decided to remove. I did slight pitch correction on tracks 4-8 because they ran a bit too fast originally. prefers to digitize audio cassettes exactly as they were without any noise reduction or whatever, so be prepared for some tape hiss. Also note Mick screwing up the beginning of "Think About Me" which Christine and John then joke about. Typical high-class jamming in "Not That Funny". Lindsey sounds like he's almost bursting into tears when introducing "WMYTYTO" (and then delivers a kick-ass rendition right after). There's some rowdy coked-out people with a few lame jokes (- "We want Stevie!" - "Wonder!") near the taper, including some BN line-up fans who respond with "never heard of him" when Christine mentions Peter Green. Once again not all the songs they played that night are present, but this is a Fleetwood Mac bootleg so what else do you expect? The band is in great playing mood as they always seemed to be in August 1980.
Lineage: Audience recording > Audio Cassette (unknown gen.) > TDK DA-3826 burner w/no compression > CD-R (trade via Brian J.) > EAC > Sound Forge (pitch correction to tracks 4-8 of disc 2 & removing the unrelated piece of music at the end of "Songbird") > FLACĪ decent-sounding recording from the-second-to-last Tusk tour date better posted here than at Dime because the quality is about B or something like that.
